Goshdarn Cobras

We stayed with our friend Greg while we were in New York last Fall. He probably looks a lot more snowed in now, though.

I always get very nervous before coloring a drawing in, especially if I already like the way it looks, so I took the precaution of scanning it beforehand. And here it is, fresh as a button.

Your Moment of Zen

I was messing around the other day with my "Earth: The Book" book close at hand and decided to draw the chimp on the cover wearing Jon Stewart's suit. I guess this is probably how Glen Beck sees him. Ahhhh, Politics.

Dove Update

A week ago I posted a sketch of an idea. Here's a more fleshed out version of that idea. After I finished it I realized it reminds me of the twisted animation of Jan Svankmajer's "Alice." If you haven't seen it yet I suggest you remedy that immediately.
