Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes fame opened up for Joanna Newsom on this tour which was a nice surprise. He played almost all new songs which I can only assume will be on the new Fleet Foxes album, unless he's planning a solo release. Either way I'm looking forward to it.

Nice one! Saw them when they came here... real good.
He does solo stuff under the moniker "White Antelope", so maybe we'll get a solo record on top of the new Fleet Foxes? Think they're pretty close to finishing that record.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. New songs sound good. I can only imagine they'd sound even better with the full band.
Glad to hear you caught them in SD. Definitely one to remember.
