I was talking to my friend Ari last month during his visit to the west coast about maybe doing some drawings of the fashionable elder people on his blog Advanced Style. Here's a rough sketch to see what one might look like. I didn't really correct anything as I went so the eyes came out much too small for the rest of the face, but I think it still came out okay. Hopefully there will be more coming.

Ari and Maayan are incredibly sharp and I love the blog...
Also check out The Sartorialist.
There are some other good sites I can recommend for renderings of period clothing,etc. if you are interested for your animal dandies.

Thanks for the tip B! That's so funny that you check out the site, though it makes perfect sense. It was started by a friend of mine that I went to high school with.
